Mondon Winding and Converting Machines has been engineering and manufacturing converting machines since 1983. With its 32-year experience in coating and laminating machinery, the French company offers products that meet quality, efficiency and reliability, providing turnkey solutions to nonwoven and technical textiles producers. With Mondon’s solutions, the customer can access to non-stop process with a specific focus on processing lines environment. Directly connected to the production line, the equipment aims to unwind, coat or laminate and rewind the product in rolls. Mondon’s automatic turret unwinder TUW Series offers a flying change facility, which means that a new roll begins automatically when the other one is finished. Thus, producing lines never stop. The nonstop process of the unwinder TUW aims to unwind the reel without stopping the downstream coating or laminating process of the line. During the unwinding process, a new roll can be loaded in hidden time thanks to roll down end and dedicated cartridge. This operation is performed in a safe area ensuring a total and safe control of the equipment. Moreover, the TUW Series ensures a constant speed to maintain tension in the line process. Speed stability avoids any over-tension in the product particularly dread by the process and the quality controls. Mondon modern automation systems enable to eliminate these potential damages. TUW Series design allows supporting rolls with a large width and diameter.Fully automatic, the equipment includes a global touchscreen for the machine supervision. Setting pages with receipt recording assists the operator for a friendly management of parameters and controls. Specially engineered to improve process performance, TUW Series ensure to users easy installation, easy handling and durability. Downstream the process area, Mondon installs its TW Series winders, achieving high productivity first-class results. This turret winder supports two shafts which allow unloading a bobbin in hidden time while rewinding a new one. The TW Series Winder combines performance with durability and first-rate technology and provides customer-specific solutions. TW Series technology permits to wind large bobbins a full width or small rolls thanks to a multi-cut station. TW Series Winder control is performed thanks to a network application with the upstream processing line. Due to its non-stop process, the winder avoids the transition sequences, which could produce bad quality product. The accuracy of the TW Series turret winder rotation obtained thanks to the performance of the state-of-the-art technology is a key factor to maintain a very constant tension in the product and to deliver the highest quality reels. The processing coating or laminating station, with its compact and versatile machines, provides high performance and high quality rewind rolls. The systems can be applied for several applications on existing lines by adapting the design to the product. They are available in different width from 1600 mm to 4000 mm, with optional devices such as a lifting table to unload the finished rolls. Interface parameter adjustment and mechanical design offer to the end user reliable equipment easy to use and easy to maintain. Training is optimum thanks to a pleasant interface.
